Construction Project Updates August 2, 2019

Well Number 8  & 9 Transmission Mains
Patnick Construction has completed the Well 9 Transmission mains.  The Well #8 transmission main installation project will resume on August 30, 2019.  Surveyors will be on site prior to this performing construction layout.

Well Number 8 & 9 Pumps and Motors
The Village is seeking bids for the installation of pumps and motors for the newly drilled wells.  The Village will be receiving bids on August 13, 2019.  A recommendation will be presented to the Village Board for action at their September 16, 2019 Board meeting.

Well Number 8 & 9 Well Building and Electrical
The Village will be receiving bids for this project on September 6, 2019.  The proposed award date with be September 16, 2019. 2019 Street Improvements

  1. Summerwind: East Victoria Circle and Hidden Creek Avenue.

Milling, which is grinding and the removal of old pavement, will begin on Wednesday. It will begin in the northernmost section and work its way towards Summerwind. This trajectory is due to the schools in the area. The process is expected to take around three weeks.

  1. Orchard Crossings: Westbury Circle, Forest Ridge Drive, Alexandra Court, Oakland Circle, Waterford Road, Fechner Circle, Messenger Circle, Hartsburg Lane, Hawksley Lane, Whalen Court, and Ritter Street

Milling, which is grinding and the removal of old pavement, will begin on Wednesday. It will begin in the northernmost section and work its way towards Summerwind. This trajectory is due to the schools in the area. The process is expected to take around three weeks.

  1. Waterford Townhomes: Waterford Road, Kathryn Lane, and Arbington Lane.

  1. Patching: Arrowhead, April, Dee,  and Laurel 
    Pavement Patching has been marked out in white paint, this operation is expected to resume in September.

 

  1. Deerpath and Orchard Gateway: Intersection Repair (North Leg)
    OnAugust 5, storm sewer improvements will begin at the intersection of Deerpath Road and Orchard Gateway. The north leg of the intersection will be closed while this work is being performed, and will be opened at the end of each work day.

Silo
Bids were opened on July 12, 2019 and will be considered by the Village Board on August 5, 2019.

LED’s
Bids were opened on Wednesday July 31, 2019. A recommendation will be presented to the Village Board on August 5, 2019 for action. The completion date for this project is December 15, 2019.

Tree Planting Program
The Village will be letting a contract for furnishing and installing  100- 3” trees.  Bid documents were  posted on the village web site starting July 24, 2019.  The bids will be received and opened on Monday August 14, 2019.  A recommendation will be presented to the Village Board at their September 2, 2019 Board meeting. The project has a completion date of November 1, 2019

Route 25 Paving Project (Lincoln Valley)
The developer of the Lincoln Valley golf course property has contracted Geneva Construction to make widen Route 25 at the entrance of the new subdivision this work will begin August 5, 2019 and is scheduled to continue to September 13, 2019.
