The Planning Division assists developers, property owners, and business owners to process requests for various development proposals. These include annexation, rezoning, planned developments, special uses, variances and subdivisions. The Planning Division is also a point-of-contact for existing and prospective businesses to facilitate governmental assistance programs available to ensure economic vitality in the community.

Comprehensive Plan
The Comprehensive Plan was originally approved by the Village Board on June 15, 2015. The Village Board approved an update to the Comprehensive Plan on January, 15, 2024. The goal of the Comprehensive Plan is to act as the Village’s blueprint for a better future.
