Chestnut Street, Locust Street, & Spruce Street Water Main and Street Improvement Project
Next week, the contractor is planning to complete the concrete driveways and concrete sidewalk that has been removed. The also plan to complete the asphalt aprons that have been removed.
2023 Road Program
This week the contractor poured the majority of the remaining concrete curb and sidewalk on the project. They also completed most asphalt apron restorations on the project. The contractor’s landscaper has continued to follow behind the concrete crew placing, topsoil, grass seed, and erosion control blanket.
The Contractor removed the existing roadway asphalt on Schneider Ct., Johnson Ct., Stewart Ave., Thompson Ave., Harding Ct., Gorham Ct., Erickson Ct., Pine Creek Dr., Graham Rd., Hamilton Ln. (east of Pine Creek), Flynn Ct., and Chesterfield Ln. (east of Pine Creek). They placed the first layer of asphalt on Schneider Ct., Johnson Ct., Stewart Ave., Thompson Ave., Harding Ct., Gorham Ct., Erickson Ct., and part of Pine Creek Dr.
Next week, the contractor will pour the few remaining sidewalks on Tuesday. They also will complete the remaining asphalt apron restorations on Tuesday which are primarily on Hamilton and Chesterfield west of Pine Creek. The landscaper will also be continuing behind the concrete crews completing the grass restoration. On Tuesday they will be continue with the asphalt pavement removal on Chesterfield (west of Pine Creek), Hamilton (west of Pine Creek) and Carpenter Ct.
On Tuesday, the contractor will be placing the surface layer of asphalt on Schneider Ct., Johnson Ct., Harding Ct., Gorham Ct., and Erickson Ct. followed by Stewart Ave. or Thompson Ave. depending on their progress. Wednesday they plan to begin placing the first layer of asphalt on Graham Rd., Chesterfield Ln. (east of Pine Creek), and Flynn Ct. They will continue to place the first layer of asphalt the remainder of the week possibly getting the first layer of asphalt completed on all streets within the project.
