The Village Board recently approved changes to the Village’s Code regarding Construction Permitting Fees.
The changes will go into effect on June 1, 2023. The updated permit fee structure is simplified so it provides clarity as to the cost and requirements for each building permit and changing the previous cost-based and area-based permit fees to a flat-rate permit fee. The three most requested residential permits — being windows, siding and roofing — in most cases will see a significant decrease.
