Join the Village for our first ever Making Spirits Bright holiday event on Saturday, December 10 from 5 p.m. — 8 p.m. at North Aurora Riverfront Park (25 East State Street).A quick timeline of our event:
❄ 5pm – The event kicks off with a small light and sirens parade of Village vehicles and vehicles from our friends over at @North Aurora Fire Department who will be escorting Santa and Mayor Gaffino to the park from the Police Department! Be sure to line up along State Street to see!
🎄 ~5:15pm – Mayor Gaffino and Santa will light the ENTIRE park for the very first time this year! It’s gonna be beautiful!
🎅 ~5:30pm – 8pm – Santa Claus will be available to visit and to take photos at the Overlook Gazebo!
🔍 5pm – 8pm – Participate in the Scavenger Hunt to explore North Aurora Riverfront Park and all of the beautiful lights and displays! Scavenger Hunt sheets will be available at the Village table and all participants will get to pick out a prize when finished!
📷 5pm – 8pm – Photo opportunities galore! Enjoy the park and check out our numerous displays perfect for fun family photos! We’ll have a Facebook post so you can share your snapshots launching about 6pm!
🍩 5pm – 8pm – If you get a little cold or hungry (or both!) Sugar Mama’s Mini Donuts will be selling hot mini donuts and hot chocolate at the top of the hill as you enter the park!
