PRE-FILING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that North Aurora Village Hall will have candidate packets for the Messenger Library Board available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning September 19, 2022. Petitions may not be circulated prior to September 20, 2022.
Notice is hereby given that the office of the Village Clerk of the Village of North Aurora will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022 through 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022 for the purpose of accepting candidate petitions for the Tuesday, April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election for the following offices:
Library Trustee – Four Year Term
Library Trustee – Four Year Term
Library Trustee – Four Year Term
Library Trustee – Two Years Remaining in Unexpired Four Year Term
The dates and times that the Village Hall will be open to accept the nominating petitions are as follows:
- First day to file: Monday, December 12, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, December 13, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 14, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Thursday, December 15, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m
- Friday, December 16, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m
- Last day to file: Monday, December 19, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Petitions should be filed at the North Aurora Village Hall, 25 E. State St., North Aurora, IL 60542.
A lottery will be held for all simultaneous filings that are filed at 8:00 a.m. on the first filing day.
