PRE-FILING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that North Aurora Village Hall will have candidate packets available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning August 29, 2022. Petitions may not be circulated prior to August 30, 2022.

Notice is hereby given that the office of the Village Clerk of the Village of North Aurora will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022 through 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 for the purpose of accepting candidate petitions for the Tuesday, April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election (Primary Election to be held on February 28, 2023 if required) for the following offices:

Village Trustee – Four Year Term
Village Trustee – Four Year Term
Village Trustee – Four Year Term

The dates and times that the Village Hall will be open to accept the nominating petitions are as follows:

• First day to file: Monday, November 21, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, November 22, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, November 23, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Closed Thursday, November 24, 2022 for Thanksgiving
• Closed Friday, November 25, 2022 for Thanksgiving
• Last day to file: Monday, November 28, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Petitions should be filed at the North Aurora Village Hall, 25 E. State St., North Aurora, IL 60542.

A lottery will be held for all simultaneous filings that are filed at 8:00 a.m. on the first filing day.
