Yard Waste Collection Program resumes in April. Residents can put out yard waste in Kraft paper bags not exceeding 50 lbs. Brush and branches/less than 3” in diameter should be bundled up to 4’ in length in less than 2’ bundles, and twined not exceeding 50 lbs. per bundle.

NEW STARTING THIS YEAR! For the first two weeks of April, residents can put out an *unlimited* amount of properly packaged yard waste for FREE! No stickers will be needed for these first two weeks of free pick-up.

For your convenience, your two free days of yard waste pick-up based upon your regularly scheduled garbage day are:

Monday Pick-up: April 4 & 11

Tuesday Pick-up: April 5 & 12

Wednesday Pick-up: April 6 & 13

Stickers will be required after the first two weeks of free pick-up through the end of November when the yard waste collection program ends for the season. Bagged leaves are picked up free during October and November.

Groot also offers a subscription program for yard waste, which allows for the rental of a 95-gallon toter exclusively for yard waste during the yard waste collection season. This toter would be billed annually and anyone interested will want to call Groot for details and pricing at 630-892-9294.

As a gentle reminder, there is no longer a Spring clean-up. The Fall clean-up will take place the week of September 12 on your normally scheduled garbage day.
