At last night’s Village board meeting, Mayor Dale Berman officially stepped down as North Aurora Village President after 30 years of service to the Village and over 50 years to the North Aurora community. Mayor Berman will be focusing on his recent election to the Kane County Board and we wish him all the best, thank him for his many years of not only service, but wisdom, compassion and leadership, and congratulate him on his “retirement.”
At this time, we’d like to welcome Trustee Mark Gaffino, who was elected among the current Village Board members, to serve as the Acting President for the Village of North Aurora. Mayor Gaffino has served on the Village Board since 2009 and has been an incredibly active member of the North Aurora community his entire life. We are very excited to begin this new chapter of North Aurora’s history with Mayor Gaffino and look forward to working alongside him, all of our Village trustees and our wonderful community.
