PRE-FILING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the office of the Village Clerk of the Village of North Aurora will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020 through 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020 for the purpose of accepting candidate petitions for the Tuesday, April 6, 2021 Consolidated Election (Primary Election to be held on February 23, 2021 if required) for the following offices:
Village President – Four Year Term
Village Trustee – Four Year Term
Village Trustee – Four Year Term
Village Trustee – Four Year Term
Village Clerk – Four Year Term
The dates and times that the Village Hall will be open to accept the nominating petitions are as follows:
• First day to file: Monday, November 16, 2020 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, November 17, 2020 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, November 18, 2020 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Thursday, November 19, 2020 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Friday, November 20, 2020 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Last day to file: Monday, November 23, 2020 – 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Petitions should be filed at the North Aurora Village Hall, 25 E. State St., North Aurora, IL 60542.
A lottery will be held for all simultaneous filings that are filed at 8:00 a.m. on the first filing day.
