VILLAGE BOARD MEETING

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Hansen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
In attendance: Mayor John Hansen, Trustees Paul Shoemaker, Dale Berman, Linda Mitchell, Mike Herlihy, Mark Gaffino and Max Herwig.
Staff in attendance: Sue McLaughlin, Bill Hannah, DeWayne Williams, Mike Glock, Jim Bibby, Tom Fetzer and Mark Bozik.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS
Robert Bowling, 214 E. Victoria Circle, North Aurora – Mr. Bowling, Vice President of the Summerwind Condo Association, explained that the Association’s Board of Directors were concerned about the fence between Randall Square and Summerwind. Mr. Bowling stated that the Association requested the developer replace the fence with one that is similar to the fence residents will receive along Randall Road (between Orchard Road and Oak Street).
Kim McLevain, 319 E. Victoria, North Aurora – Ms. McLevain, President of Summerwind Condo Association, said there are 286 units at Summerwind. In addition to the sound, lights and beautification of the new strip mall, McLevain said the residents are not in favor of a walkway being built from the Randall Square development into Summerwind. Mayor Hansen said that there are no plans for such a walkway.
