Mayor Berman called the meeting to order.

Staff in attendance: Village Administrator Steve Bosco, Finance Director Bill Hannah, Community & Economic Development Director Mike Toth, Village Attorney Kevin Drendel, Water Superintendent Paul Young, Public Works Superintendent Mike Glock, Police Chief Dave Summer, Fire Marshall Erik Bunkofske.

DISCUSSION
1. Presentation by Rule 29 of new Village Logo and Motto Options
Rule 29 presented new logo designs with various color samples and fonts to the Village Board. The new designs included a shield shape and inclusion of a crane and silo in the logo.
Mayor Berman suggested the possibility of the logo being illuminated on the silo.
The Board discussed the different logos with some liking the silo concept, the font and simplicity of the logos, the eight-sided logo and the need for “North” in North Aurora to stand out and be the dominant color.
No final decision was made on the new logo.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion to adjourn to Executive Session made by Trustee Carroll and seconded by Trustee Curtis to discuss land acquisition and imminent litigation. All in favor. Motion approved.
