AUDIENCE COMMENTS

Bob Dunteman said that he saw in the Kane County Chronicle a consideration for a sod ban. He came to hear the board’s concerns, as well as contribute his knowledge of sod with which he has twenty years. He would like to address some of the negative feedback he saw towards sod growers and developers. He would like to suggest permits for sod installation. An established lawn needs less water then what was quoted. He was hoping a wet spring would change the board’s consideration for a ban.

Village-President Hansen wanted to know what would be aesthetic if the one inch rule is considered lush.

Bob said a lawn should be watered once a week, and then left alone the rest of the week.
