CALL TO ORDER – 7:00 pm
Mayor Berman called the meeting to order.

2014 Watermain Program

OLD BUSINESS – None

VILLAGE PRESIDENT REPORT
Mayor Berman mentioned that the Village would celebrate Veterans Day with a ceremony on Monday, November 11th @ 2:00 pm at the Village’s Veteran’s Memorial. Mayor Berman also noted that the veterans Moving Wall would be displayed next week in Aurora.

COMMITTEE REPORTS – None
TRUSTEES COMMENTS – None

ADMINISTRATORS REPORT
Village Administrator Steven Bosco thanked the Water Department and Mike Glock for their work on the water issue at Lovedale and Offutt. Bosco also mentioned Bill Hannah’s amazing job on the audit.

ATTORNEYS REPORT – None
FIRE DISTRICT REPORT – None

VILLAGE DEPARTMENT REPORTS
A. Finance – Bill Hannah thanked Sikich for their job with the audit, and also thanked the Village Board, Village Administrator and Department heads for their support throughout the year.
B. Community Development – Mike Toth noted that information regarding Homes for a Changing Region can be found on the Village website and encouraged everyone to go online and take the survey.
C. Police – Chief Summer stated that the Village’s Honor Guard will be working with the Kane County Sheriffs Dept for the Moving Wall ceremony at West Aurora High school.
D. Public Work – Mike Glock said that the first layer of blacktop was laid on Smoketree and that work has begun on Lovedale and Offutt. Tree planting will start later this week and leaf pickup ends right before Thanksgiving.
E. Water – Paul Young stated that a week ago a problem was discovered with the valve where the storm sewer and curb work is being done on Lovedale and Offutt. One or two of the valves were closed and will hopefully resolve the problem tomorrow.
