CALL TO ORDER
Village President John Hansen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

In attendance: Village President John Hansen, Trustees Paul Shoemaker, Dale Berman, Linda Mitchell, Mike Herlihy, Mark Gaffino, Max Herwig. Staff in attendance: Sue McLaughlin, Bill Hannah, DeWayne Williams, Jim Bibby, Mike Glock, Tom Fetzer, Mark Bozik, Atty. Kevin Drendel.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS
Stacy McReynolds, 36 Monroe Street, North Aurora, IL – Stacey McReynolds informed the Board that the North Aurora historical book was released today and available for purchase at Village Hall for $19.95. McReynolds thanked the Board for allowing her to do the project, adding that she is already working on a second book that will be released in 2008.
AWARD FOR DISTINGUISHED BUDGET PRESENTATION TO VILLAGE OF NORTH AURORA FROM GOVERNMENT FINANCE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION
Village President Hansen acknowledged the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the Village’s finance staff. Bill Hannah said that the GFOA has a program for governmental budgeting. Last year the budget was completely revised and improvements made so that it would qualify for the award. Hannah said there were only 1,027 of these awards granted last year throughout North America. Of that amount, there were 674 municipalities, 49 of which were in the State of Illinois. Village President Hansen congratulated Hannah and his staff and said they should be very proud of their work.
