CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Berman called the meeting to order.
ROLL CALL
In attendance: Mayor Dale Berman, Trustee Mike Lowery, Trustee Chris Faber, Trustee Mark Carroll, Trustee Mark Gaffino, Trustee Mark Guethle, Village Clerk Lori Murray. Not in attendance: Trustee Laura Curtis.
Staff in attendance: Village Administrator Steve Bosco, Finance Director Bill Hannah, Community & Economic Development Director Mike Toth, Public Works Superintendent Mike Glock, Water Superintendent Paul Young, Village Attorney Kevin Drendel.

DISCUSSION
1. Discussion on 161 S. Lincolnway Variance for a Wall Sign
Mike Toth stated that Staff recommended denial for the reason of establishing precedence. There was no hardship associated with the variance. Plan Commission concurred with Staff. The petitioner was not in attendance at the meeting.
Trustee Lowery said there is currently a sign on the building for the VA Clinic. Trustee Carroll asked if it is not in compliance. Toth said yes. One Main Financial would be directly to the north of the VA Clinic sign. Drendel said it is possible it was part of the special use. Gaffino asked if there is room in the monument sign. Toth said there is a sign out there already for the petitioner.
The Committee agreed that there was no hardship in this case and was not in favor of approving the variance.
Toth said he would bring this back to the next meeting for a vote.

Motion to adjourn made by Trustee Gaffino and seconded by Trustee Carroll. All in favor. Motion approved.
