ROLL CALL
In attendance: Village President John Hansen, Trustees Dale Berman, Linda Mitchell, Mike Herlihy, Mark Gaffino and Max Herwig. Not in attendance: Trustee Paul Shoemaker.

Staff in attendance: Atty. Kevin Drendel, Sue McLaughlin, Bill Hannah, Mike Glock, Tom Fetzer, DeWayne Williams and Mark Bozik.

AUDIENCE COMMENTS
Steve Sabo, 207 April Lane, North Aurora, IL – Mr. Sabo commented on an article from the Daily Herald regarding the use of brick pavers for parking lots and city streets. Sabo noted that the water that falls on a brick paver street will go back into the ground and the aquifer. Sabo said the Village could look into requiring this type of surface instead of asphalt for future roadwork. Village President Hansen said the Village would take a look at this. Trustee Herlihy said this system was discussed a couple of years ago when the Village adopted the Kane County Stormwater Control Ordinance. Herlihy said he’s seen this used on a number of projects in the suburbs and haven’t heard many complaints.

PUBLIC HEARING: Amendment to the Annexation Agreement for North Aurora Towne Centre
Village President Hansen opened the public hearing. Atty. Drendel said that the Amendment pertains to an S-shaped parcel. The Village is in the process of completing the transaction to swap the s-shaped parcel along with the drainage piece for the 5-acre piece that Rubloff presently owns. Once Rubloff acquires the s-shaped parcel they will want it made part of the Annexation Agreement and the PUD Ordinance. The hearing is for the purpose of considering the annexation of the s-shaped parcel. Atty. Drendel added that the issue will be discussed at a public hearing before the Plan Commission for the zoning and special use for the PUD. The hearing is for the purpose of considering the s-shaped parcel. There were no comments from the public or the Board. Village President Hansen closed the public hearing.
