Date: July 4th, 2014 Time: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

LOCATION: There will be 2 downtown Aurora activity locations, RiverEdge Park on Broadway and McCullough Park at Illinois & Lake Streets adjacent to the Prisco Center. Starting at 5:00 p.m., each location will offer unique entertainment, local food vendors and other amenities.

SHUTTLES: The Fireworks Shuttle Buses have been coordinated to the new downtown location with city wide shuttle sites for a short hassle-free ride. The new Park & Ride shuttle locations are available at www.aurora-il.org.

PARKING: Downtown parking locations are available at www.aurora-il.org.

ENTERTAINMENT & REFRESHMENTS:
RiverEdge Park – presented by the Paramount Theatre
5:00 to 10:00 p.m. – Local Food Vendors – Featuring a selection of many tasty treats.
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. – American Legion Band – Performing a mix of patriotic music and traditional favorites.
7:00 to 9:00 p.m. – Fox Valley Orchestra – In addition to rousing patriotic songs such as Stars and Stripes Forever and America the Beautiful, the orchestra will include movie medleys from West Side Story, A Chorus Line, The Magnificent Seven, and Dances with Wolves, plus popular favorites such as Leroy Anderson’s Jazz Pizzicato and Blue Tango, John WIlliams’ Olympic Fanfare and Theme, and a Cole Porter Salute. Come and enjoy the exhilarating performance of one of the Fox Valley’s musical gems!
9:00 p.m. – Chicagoland Skydivers – Turn your eyes to the sky for a dynamic aerial display of daredevil excitement!

McCullough Park Great Lawn
5:00 to 10:00 p.m. – Local Food Vendors – Featuring Hot Dogs, Homemade Tamales, Tacos, Brats, Burgers, Fruit Smoothies, Ice Cream, Funnel Cakes, Kettle Corn, Italian Ice and much more!
5:00 – 9:00 p.m. – FREE Inflatable Rides – Kids can run, jump and play in these interactive activities.
6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Gazebo – Dots & Splashes Face Painting – Wearable art to delight children of all ages.
9:00 p.m. – Chicagoland Skydivers – Turn your eyes to the sky for a dynamic aerial display of daredevil excitement!

McCullough Park Main Stage
6:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Circus Boy – Circus Boy blends his comedic skills with lots of audience participation while performing circus antics, which include riding a titanium unicycle, balancing on a ladder juggling with his mouth and according to Ripley’s ‘Believe or Not’ riding the world’s smallest bike.

7:15 to 9:00 p.m. The Wave Runners – Set sail to the tropics and relax to music from Jimmy Buffett, The Beach Boys, The Safaris, The Ventures, Harry Belafonte and many more! The Wave Runners will entertain you with amazing acapella vocals and a spectacular Flaming Drum Stick Show. The Wave Runners are tons of beach time fun and they’ll even make you part of the show!

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
9:30 p.m.
Raise your eyes to the skies as the City of Lights lives up to its name with a bigger than ever pyrotechnic spectacular along the banks of the Fox River in Downtown Aurora! An explosion of wonder overhead that will thrill the young and make the young at heart feel like a kid again. The display will be like two shows in one with fiery bursts of red, white and blue in the sky above and twinkling reflections in the Fox River below. It will be the kind of show you have to see to believe!
