Please join us in congratulating Officer Ethan Majerus as being awarded the North Aurora Lions Club “Police Officer of the Year!”

Officer Majerus was nominated by two of his supervisors, for his commitment to the Village, his productivity, for stepping up and acting as a supervisor and for his role in a multi-year investigation of a business in town that ultimately assisted the business to turn itself around and become a positive and productive establishment.

Officer Majerus was presented the award by North Aurora Police Chief Joe DeLeo at the North Aurora Lions annual banquet. Deputy Chief Joe Gorski, Deputy Chief Mike Quinn, Mayor Mark Gaffino, Trustee Carolyn Bird Salazar, Trustee Mark Guethle and Trustee Todd Niedzwiedz were present to congratulate him as well.

Congrats, Officer Majerus! 🥳
