Well Number 8 & 9 Well Electrical Work
This week Village Staff continues to work on collecting the necessary information and samples to submit to the IEPA.
Maple and Elm Water Main
Both streets have passed their chlorination testing. Water service installation will begin Monday on Elm Street. During the installation of water services the parkway in front of residents’ homes will be disturbed. Please obey “No Parking” sign when the construction site is active.
2020 Street Improvements
This week Geneva Construction placed the first layer of asphalt on Arrowhead, Dee, Laurel, and April and the final layer on most of Laurel. Next week, weather permitting, the binder will be placed on Briar and surface will begin to be placed on Arrowhead, Dee, April then Briar. Please obey construction signs. Fresh Oil (Prime Coat) will be placed on the streets as operations dictate. This can track onto your driveway so be careful if you drive through it. To avoid this issue consider parking your car on a street outside the construction area.
Street construction on Maple and Elm will occur after the water main replacement project is complete.
Silo
This week the lifts were delivered to the job site. Construction activities were coordinated with the adjacent property owners. Next week the electrician will begin taking measurements and the Village and its contractor will continue brush removal and tree trimming.
