POLICE COMMISSION Special Open Meeting
June 6, 2024, at 15:00 hrs.
CALL TO ORDER
Commissioner Hatchet presented a motion to commence with open this Special open meeting of the Village of North Aurora Police Commission, a second motion was as made by Commissioner Jungles; All present in favor with the meeting commencing at 18:03hrs.

Commissioners present: Chairperson Lisa Hatchett, Commissioners Phil Jungels and Brian Reid.

New Business
1. The Commissioners agreed to schedule the 3rd Quarter Open Meeting of The North Aurora Police Commission on 05-Sep-2024 at 16:00hrs. – All present in favor.
2. Illinois Department of Fire and Police Commissioners Attorney John Broihier will retire from his position on 31-Dec-2024.
3. The NAPD Police Commission has spoken with North Aurora Village Administrator Steven Bosco and Attorney John Kelly, who represents another Illinois Fire/Police Commission elsewhere, to assist The North Aurora Police Commission with updating the current manual (2003 Rules and Regulations of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners Village of North Aurora State of Illinois), which is outdated. The Commissioners will discuss further at our next scheduled open meeting with further updates on this process.

ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Reid presented a motion to adjourn the closed the meeting, a seconded motion was made by Commissioner Jungels; all present in favor – Motion Approved. The Closed Meeting adjourned at 16:02hrs.
