VILLAGE OF NORTH AURORA
POLICE COMMISSION MEETING
November 24, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
A motion was presented to commence with the 4th Quarter 2021 open meeting of the Village of North Aurora Police Commission by Commissioner Hatchet and a second motion was made by Chairperson Jungels; the meeting commenced at 18:00 hrs. – All in favor.
ROLL CALL
Commissioners present: Chairperson Phil Jungels, Commissioner Brian Reid and Commissioner Lisa Hatchet.
Old Business
1. The Commissioners approved open meeting minutes from the NAPD Commissioners 3rd quarter meeting held on 06-Aug-2021 at 18;00 hrs. All present in favor.
2. The Commissioners reviewed and discussed the NAPD Sgt. Promotional Eligibility List including raw scores with individual seniority and preference points for each candidate. A motion was made by Chairperson Jungels to accept the Sgt. Promotional Eligibility List and points as presented and post the list effective December 1, 2021. A 2nd to this motion was mad by Commissioner Reid. All present in favor.
3. No further Old Business.
New Business
1. The Commissioners reviewed the NAPD new hire eligibility list requirements for 2022. The Commissioners will request that Chief Fisher and Deputy Chief Buziecki coordinate with C.O.P.S. (Personal Testing Services) for potential available testing dates in 2022.
2. No further New Business.
Adjournment
A motion was made by Commissioner Hatchet to adjourn the open meeting, this motion was seconded by Commissioner Reid; All present in favor – Motion Approved. The Open Meeting adjourned at 18:27 hrs.
