CALL TO ORDER
In the absence of Village President Hansen, Trustee Herwig called the meeting to order.

In attendance: Trustee Max Herwig, Trustee Dale Berman, Trustee Bob Strusz, Trustee Mark Gaffino.
Staff in attendance: Atty. Kevin Drendel, Village Administrator Sue McLaughlin, Assistant to the Village Administrator Wes Kornowske, Finance Director Bill Hannah, Community Development Director Scott Buening, Public Works Superintendent Mike Glock, Village Engineer Jim Bibby, Police Chief Tom Fetzer, Bureau Fire Chief Mark Bozik, Water Superintendent Paul Young.

PRESENTATION
Kane County Help for Homeowners – Maureen Anderson and Scott Berger were in attendance to address the Board regarding the problem with foreclosures in Kane County and ways to help homeowners. Within the last 3 months, there were 925 new foreclosures filed across Kane County. Of those, 30 were in North Aurora. Help for Homeowners asked for the Village’s assistance to work with them to address the issue. There are a variety of options that are available for the citizens to take advantage of but that information needs to be provided to the community. Help for Homeowners asked that the Village provide this information to the community via the community newsletter and utility bills. Free homeowner clinics will take place on the following dates:
-Sept. 6th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Kane County Government Center in Batavia, IL
-Sept. 20th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at The Centre of Elgin in Elgin, IL
-Oct. 18th from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at East Aurora High School in Aurora, IL
