AUDIENCE COMMENTS
Steve Sabo, 207 April Lane, North Aurora – Mr. Sabo suggested the Board save the $220,000 that the riverfront committee wants to spend for the overlook to the river, adding that a better benefit for the entire village would be to take the utility tax on natural gas and reduce it by the $220,000.

Terry Mulligan and Mike Edmeier (Aurora Packing Company) – addressed their concern about the new stop sign on Grant Street & Route 25. Edmeier said that this intersection caused a major problem for trucks entering and leaving the businesses. Edmeier said they have approached IDOT and the tollway to see if the light could be moved from Grant Street down to Mettel. Edmeier asked about the possibility of placing a cul-de-sac at the south end of Grant Street, which would limit the traffic that would be able to cut through the area. Village Administrator Sue McLaughlin said that Staff has discussed this issue and will be discussing it further at the Committee of the Whole meeting Monday night.

McLaughlin said that the cul-de-sac raised issues in that it would affect the Just Golf business, as well as snow plowing. McLaughlin said that Staff was going to recommend a one-way street southbound. To be discussed at the Committee of the Whole meeting.
