CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Berman called the meeting to order.

In attendance: Mayor Dale Berman, Trustee Chris Faber, Trustee Ryan Lambert, Trustee Mark Gaffino, Trustee Laura Curtis, Trustee Vince Mancini, Village Clerk Lori Murray. Not in attendance: Trustee Mark Guethle.
Staff in attendance: Village Administrator Wes Kornowske, Finance Director Wes Kornowske, Community Development Director Scott Buening, Village Attorney Kevin Drendel, Public Works Superintendent Mike Glock, Police Chief Dave Summer, Water Superintendent Paul Young

DISCUSSION
1. Discussion on Laptop versus Tablet purchase for Village Board meeting use
Wes Kornowske informed the Board that it was time to order new devices for the Board and asked if the Board would want the tablet instead of a laptop. After some discussion, the Board decided to move to tablets vs. laptops.
2. Discussion on Waste Hauler Fiscal Year 2011 through Fiscal Year 2012 Statistics
North Aurora is consuming less than the previous year. The decrease in throw away goods did not decrease as rapidly for recyclables as it did for solid waste. This year, for every 53 tons of recyclable materials to 100 tons of solid waste material is being thrown away which is more than it was the previous year which was 50 tons of recyclables to 100 tons of solid refuse. The rate of recycling has increased in the Village.

Motion made by Trustee Gaffino and seconded by Trustee Lambert to adjourn to Executive Session for Pending Litigation, Land Acquisition, Imminent Litigation and Labor Negotiations. All in favor. Motion approved.
