CALL TO ORDER
Village President Hansen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

In attendance: Village President John Hansen, Trustee Dale Berman, Trustee Mike Herlihy, Trustee Bob Strusz, Trustee Mark Gaffino, Trustee Max Herwig.
Staff in attendance: Village Administrator Sue McLaughlin, Management Analyst Wes Kornowske, Finance Director Bill Hannah, Community Development Director Scott Buening, Public Works Superintendent Mike Glock, Village Engineer Jim Bibby, Police Chief Tom Fetzer, Fire Bureau Chief Mark Bozik, Village Attorney Kevin Drendel.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS
Brenda English, 212 Mistwood Lane, North Aurora – Ms. English, representing Friday Nite Spot, addressed the Board to present a donation to the Village. Ms. English stated that Friday Nite Spot is a not-for-profit organization held at the Activity Center where teens and pre-teens can go on Friday nights to play games, watch a movie or just hang out with their friends. It runs from October to April and helps to keep the kids off the streets. It is run solely by volunteers. Each student pays a registration fee and those monies are used to purchase new equipment each year. Over the past twenty years the Village has allowed Friday Nite Spot to use the facility. On behalf of the Friday Nite Spot Coordinators (Brenda English, Patty Buck, Mike Hizel, Lori Murray and Bob Strusz) a check for $2,000, monies that accumulated over the past 20 years, was presented to the Village.
The Village Board thanked Friday Nite Spot for the donation.
