The use of Clocktower plaza has been approved for the location. Fireworks will be held on Friday and Saturday nights at approximately 9:45p.m. The fireworks show for Friday night will have a cost of $5,000 and Saturday night will cost $7,500. A motion was made by Jim Laughead to approve the cost of the fireworks for both nights, and seconded by Bill Hannah. The motion passed unanimously.
A garage sale will not be held in conjunction with North Aurora Days this year, and there may be a community garage sale scheduled in September.
Bob Strusz advised that his contact, Dan Schultz, is no longer with Euclid Beverage, however we should have the same product as last year. The beer tent will open from 4:00 pm until 12:00 midnight on Friday, and be open from 12:00 noon until 12:00 midnight on Saturday.
A local high school band might play on Saturday at the Clocktower Plaza.
