AUDIENCE COMMENTS
Brenda Ginther, 513 Bede Circle (Pinecreek Subdivision), North Aurora, IL – Ms. Ginther approached the Board, requesting that the water ordinance allow for watering during the morning hours. Trustee Herlihy said that water in morning hours would result in watering during peak demand hours. Ms. Ginther said that she called the Village when she did some reseeding in her yard last year and was told that she could not water during morning hours. Trustee Herwig said that if this was a major reseeding, the resident would be able to come to the Village and request a permit for watering. Ginther said she was not informed of this option. Trustee Herwig said that water conservation and code enforcement were the main reasons for the current regulations.

Ed Zacharias, 46 Grant Street, North Aurora, IL – Mr. Zacharius approached the Board regarding parking on Grant Street. Zacharius said that he believed he had permission to park at the end of his street at the meat-packing parking lot. However, on Super Bowl weekend, was told he could not use the lot. Zacharius was concerned that there is no parking available for guests to park. Zacharius asked the Village to look at his situation and come up with a resolution for parking since parking is not allowed on Grant Street and because their situation is unique.
