Annexation by Surroundment of property to the Village of North Aurora (Evergreen Drive and part of BNSF Railroad south of I-88)
There were no comments from the public or the Board. Village President Hansen closed the public hearing.
PRESENTATION ON FISCAL YEAR 2007/08 AUDIT BY SIKICH LLP
Sikich LLP provided information to the Board regarding the 2007/08 audit. The Village was presented a clean unqualified opinion on the Village’s financial statements. Less than three tenths of 1% of all municipalities in the country with a population of less than 25,000 annually receive a clean unqualified opinion and the receipt of the GFOA Certificate of Achievement for excellence in financial reporting.
