MINUTES
Call to Order
Meeting called to order at 5:36pm. Attached is the sign in sheet with all who were present.
Attendance
Mark Gaffino, Dale Berman, Jim Laughead, Bill Hannah, Robyn Stecklein, Doug Botkin, Jeff, Steve Bosco, Anise Hesson, Bob Strusz, Sarah Deer and Mike Treve.

Discussion
An Outline of Procedures and Functions was distributed to all members in attendance. This Outline is to be used as a guideline for the event. Please read and review and let Mark know of any proposed changes.
We went around the room asking for input from last year’s event and possible changes for this year.
Fireworks – possibly only do one night (Saturday); look for different vendors
Parade – keep on Friday night
** No one is allowed on the stage this year **
Jim discussed the kids rides – explained that we are limited on the types of amusement rides due to lack of room; will contact Game Truck again this year; he is also working on the signs. Looking into a new sign for the Randall/Oak area.
Jim will take over the Fishing Derby this year.
Bill reported on the sponsorships. Sponsorships went well. We are going to keep the same number of food venders this year; target date for mailing out information is February/march.
Beer tent will open on Friday at 5pm; Saturday at 2pm
Mark reported that the police department is working on a town wide volunteer listing
Robyn reported that safe kids is still planning to participate. Asked Mark if Mooseheart will still be the venue? Mark will work on taking care of Mooseheart details.
Doug reported on advertising – still going to use booklets; make more use of the Neighbors Magazine.
Doug also advised the committee that his daughter will be unable to run the Ice Cream eating contest this year so this event will need a chair.
Jeff said that he will be working on Touch a Truck.
The next North Aurora Days meeting will be held on Monday, April 20th, 2015 at 5:30pm at the Village Hall.
