Watkins mentioned that she got a quote for the VIP furniture which included lounge furniture, chairs, and some decorative ropes. The Teen Talent Showcase has been promoted over social media as well as other outlets and will use the VIP tent for a meet and greet before the event begins. Watkins said that the Run for the Riverfront event already has 85 runners signed up and Racetime will be the company that runs it this year.
Robyn Stecklein said the touch-a-truck event should be all good to go. Ryan McKiness asked the committee when the Honor Guard needs to be there. The committee said the Honor Guard will go on in between the bands on Friday night. Public Works Director John Laskowski mentioned that majority of North Aurora Day Banners are up around the community and that the generators, traffic control devices, and barricades have been ordered. Village Administrator Steve Bosco mentioned that the North Aurora Days event booklets should be out by the end of the week. Bosco also stated that the emergency vehicle parade would be the same route as last year.

Carolyn Bird Salazar updated the committee on volunteers. Salazar mentioned that she has a few volunteers for ID checks for Friday and Saturday and will reach out to West Aurora to see if any students would be interested in volunteering for community service hours.

Kim Haeger updated the committee on food vendors. Haeger mentioned that the Happy Lobster truck backed out, but all the other six food vendors should be there. Haeger also said that she will be ordering the beverages for the beer tent within the next week and will have Superior deliver on Thursday once the beer tent is assembled.

North Aurora Days Chairman Mark Gaffino updated the committee on events. Gaffino mentioned that dodgeball will be Saturday from 9am to 12pm at Jewel Middle School and will be handled by the school. Gaffino also stated that softball and fishing derby should be good to go. Gaffino mentioned that Team Fib will be the food vendor for the Sunday event.
