CALL TO ORDER
Village President Hansen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
In attendance: Village President John Hansen, Trustee Dale Berman, Trustee Bob Strusz, Trustee Mark Gaffino, Trustee Max Herwig. Not in attendance: Trustee Mike Herlihy, Trustee Linda Mitchell.
Staff in attendance: Village Administrator Sue McLaughlin, Management Analyst Wes Kornowske, Finance Director Bill Hannah, Public Works Superintendent Mike Glock, Village Engineer Jim Bibby, Police Chief Tom Fetzer, Fire Bureau Chief Mark Bozik.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS
Rich Smith, 28 Monroe Street, North Aurora – Mr. Smith noted his concern with the two plans for the Riverfront proposal. Smith said that Plan B lists his house as open space and asked that it be corrected. Smith said he hoped that the street enhancements would not include paving, curbs, etc. because he would not want to lose the on-street parking. Smith said it would make it worse for people who come there daily to fish and park on the gravel area next to the road. Smith said he hoped that street enhancement could be minimized and that the green space would be removed from plan B.
TRUSTEES COMMENTS
Trustee Herwig mentioned that the first Friday Nite Spot was held Friday night with a total of 150 participants. There are 182 4th & 5th grade students registered at this time. Herwig noted that the Activity Center building is fully rented.
