CALL TO ORDER
Village President Hansen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
In attendance: Village President John Hansen, Trustees Dale Berman, Mike Herlihy, Bob Strusz, Mark Gaffino, Linda Mitchell, Max Herwig.
Staff in attendance: Village Administrator Sue McLaughlin, Management Analyst Wes Kornowske, Finance Director Bill Hannah, Public Works Superintendent Mike Glock, Village Engineer Jim Bibby, Police Chief Tom Fetzer, Fire Bureau Chief Mark Bozik, Asst. Public Works Superintendent – Water Division Paul Young, Atty. Kevin Drendel.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS
Mark Wade, 209 Legrande, Aurora, IL introduced himself to the Board and announced that he would be a candidate for judge in the 16th Circuit.
TRUSTEES COMMENTS
Trustee Herwig mentioned that Comcast would be sending out notices regarding a price adjustment. Increases for packages will range from an additional $2 to $5 a month.
Trustee Mitchell mentioned that a number of years ago a ruling was passed that stated the Village would not allow candidates to speak at Village meetings. This was done because there was a period of time when the meetings were turned into a mock forum. Village President Hansen asked Administrator McLaughlin to check into this issue.
Trustee Herlihy said that the rescheduled North Aurora Days Auto Fest would take place on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the North Aurora Auto Mall.
