North Aurora Riverfront Park is gearing up for the holidays and this year we’re planning to have real evergreen trees to build a Christmas Tree grove! Interested businesses, organizations or civic groups located within North Aurora are able to sponsor one of these approximately 5′ pre-lit trees to help make the park beautiful.
Tree sponsorships cost $100 and will be limited to the first 30 respondents. To qualify, an organization must fill out the below form and once their placement is confirmed submit payment (mailed check to Village Hall (25 East State Street) or check, cash or credit card accepted in person at Village Hall) within 7 business days to secure their spot. Any business that does not submit payment by the deadline will be moved onto a waiting list. Checks can be made out to The Village of North Aurora.
Each sponsor will get a sign with their name placed in front of the tree. Each tree will be pre-lit and the organization is welcome to decorate (all decorations must be family-friendly and appropriate) the tree as well. Contacts will be notified when the trees are available for decorating, likely the week of December 1.
Registration opens November 4 and closes November 22 unless filled prior to the deadline.
