Halloween is on Tuesday, October 31. The Village of North Aurora suggested Trick-or-Treat hours are 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Residents are welcome to offer treats during the entirety of the recommended hours or may choose to end earlier; whatever timeframe works best for you. I encourage all of our residents to practice safety so that everyone may have a safe and fun Halloween.

The following are safety tips to remember as your kids trick-or-treat throughout our neighborhoods: children should always go in groups with adult supervision, treats should always be inspected by adults before they are eaten, be sure to caution children to always look both ways and use crosswalks when crossing streets, and also, motorists please be extra careful when you are driving through neighborhoods.
