Mayor Berman called the meeting to order.

Mayor Berman proclaimed August 6, 2019 as National Night Out in the Village of North Aurora.

1. Approval of Ordinance Amending Title 17 of the North Aurora code to Allow
Dwelling, Townhouse as a Permitted Use in the R-3 General Residence District
Motion for approval made by Trustee Carroll and seconded by Trustee Gaffino. Roll Call Vote: Trustee Carroll – yes, Trustee Gaffino – yes, Trustee Lowery – yes, Trustee Guethle – yes. Motion approved (4-0).
2. Approval of the Route 31 Demolition T.I.F. Grant for 313 and 315 South
Lincolnway in the Amount of $9,600.00

3. Approval of a Resolution Approving a Permit to Utilize State Street for the Annual
North Aurora Days Pet Parade

Village Administrator Steve Bosco noted that due to the new cannabis act, Staff will come to the Board at the next Committee of the Whole meeting in August or September with an overview of the new state law.

3. Police – Police Chief Dave Fisher commented on another successful police picnic which took place over the weekend.
