CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Berman called the meeting to order.

VILLAGE PRESIDENT’S REPORT
1. Appointment of President/Mayor Pro Tem – Mayor Berman requested the
appointment of Mark Gaffino for the position of Mayor Pro Tem. Motion for approval made by Trustee Guethle and seconded by Trustee Carrol. Voice Vote – yes – unanimous.

2. Appointment of Police Chief
Motion for approval made by Trustee Gaffino and seconded by Trustee Carroll to appoint Dave Fisher as the next Police Chief for the Village of North Aurora. Roll Call Vote: Trustee Gaffino – yes, Trustee Lowery – yes, Trustee Curtis – yes, Trustee Carroll – yes, Trustee Martinez – yes, Trustee Guethle – yes. Motion approved (6-0). The appointment will be effective on May 17th at 4:00 p.m.

ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT
Village Administrator Steve Bosco stated that Harners and the Village continue to work with the Fox Valley Park District in getting the silo project started. Public Works Director John Laskowski, with the help of Toth has put together specs which will assist in picking a qualified firm. The RFQ will be submitted sometime in the summer.

VILLAGE DEPARTMENT REPORTS
1. Finance – None
2. Community Development – None
3. Police – Police Chief Dave Summer said that it was a pleasure working for the Village for the last 30 years and thanked the Board for their support during his time as Chief of Police.
4. Public Works – John Laskowski said he is updating the Village website with the current construction projects. Each Friday there will be a review of the past week’s projects.
