OCTOBER 5, 2015

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Berman called the meeting to order.

In attendance: Mayor Dale Berman, Trustee Laura Curtis, Trustee Mike Lowery, Trustee Chris Faber, Trustee Mark Carroll, Trustee Mark Gaffino, Trustee Mark Guethle, Village Clerk Lori Murray.

Staff in attendance: Village Administrator Steve Bosco, Finance Director Bill Hannah, Community & Economic Development Director Mike Toth, Police Chief Dave Summer, Public Works Superintendent Mike Glock, Water Superintendent Paul Young, Attorney Roman Seckel.

PUBLIC HEARING
1. Orchard Commons Well Use – Mayor Berman opened the public hearing. There were no
audience comments. Mayor Berman then closed the public hearing.

CONSENT AGENDA
1. Approval of Village Board Minutes dated 9/21/2015 and C.O.W. Minutes dated 9/21/2015
2. Approval of Verizon Cell Tower Lease Agreement

Annexation Agreement between the Village of North Aurora, Orchard Commons, LLC and Mettel Investment Partnership for the Orchard Commons Development.

2. Approval of a Resolution Approving Route 31 T.I.F. Façade Grant Funding to
Aurora Wire at 8 Marvo Street in the Amount of $17,950.00

3. Approval of a Resolution Approving Route 31, T.I.F. Façade Grant Funding to
Share and Care Learning Center at 12 John Street in the Amount of $12,409.50

4. Approval of the Purchase of a 5-yard Dump Truck from TransChicago Truck
Group in the Amount of $139,587.00.

5. Approval of a Bill List dated October 5, 2015 in the Amount of $407,223.35.

ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT
In reference to the silo project, the plan is to have three companies come out and go through a walk through followed by a company to do a structural analysis.

VILLAGE DEPARTMENT REPORTS
1. FINANCE – None
2. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT – None
3. POLICE – None
4. PUBLIC WORKS – Randall Road construction continues with the binder course to be down tomorrow and surface work by the end of the week.
5. WATER – Pump and Motor from Well #3 has been pulled and is currently in the shop. The insurance company has sent their rep for further investigation.
