The Village Hall is the center of administration and activities for the Village of North Aurora. Administration encompasses the Village Administrator and Administrative Staff, Finance Department, Water Department, Community and Economic Development, Building and Zoning, and Public Works Department.
The Village Administrator is the chief administrative officer for the Village and is responsible to the Village President and Village Board for the administration, management, and operation of the internal affairs of the Village. This includes the properties of the Village, personnel matters, the operations of the employees and departments of the Village, and all other internal affairs.
The Village Administrator also investigates all complaints in relation to Village services and Village administration and follows up on those complaints by taking appropriate action. The Administrator advises and makes recommendations regarding changes to the current policies, rules, regulations, procedures, practices, and other such appropriate actions as the administrator deems advisable in response to such complaints.
