PRE-FILING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that North Aurora Village Hall will have candidate packets for the Messenger Library Board available weekdays available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning August 19, 2024. Petitions may not be circulated prior to August 20, 2024.
Notice is hereby given that the office of the Village Clerk of the Village of North Aurora will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 through 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024 for the purpose of accepting candidate petitions for the Tuesday, April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election for the following offices:
- Library Trustee – Four Year Term
- Library Trustee – Four Year Term
- Library Trustee – Four Year Term
- Library Trustee – Four Year Term
- Library Trustee – Two Years Unexpired Length of Four Year Term
The dates and times that the Village Hall will be open to accept the nominating petitions are as follows:
- First day to file: Tuesday, November 12, 2024 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 13, 2024 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Thursday, November 14, 2024 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Friday, November 15, 2024 – 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Last day to file: Monday, November 18, 2024 – 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Petitions should be filed at the North Aurora Village Hall, 25 E. State St., North Aurora, IL 60542.
A lottery will be held for all simultaneous filings that are filed at 8:00 a.m. on the first filing day.
