If you’re on the west side of town and haven’t seen the Village leaf vactor trucks come through this week, they will be there! Due to the Thanksgiving holiday the Village has a shortened work week, but Public Works crews will be picking up leaves on the west side Thursday and Friday for streets that did not get picked up by end of today (and had leaves out by 6am this past Monday). Gentle reminder to please make sure not to park vehicles in front of leaf piles or pile leaves near mailboxes as crews will not be able to collect them.
In the event you still have leaves that have not yet fallen, Groot will continue to collect bagged leaves for FREE through next week on your regularly scheduled service day. Groot will also have two free weeks of yard waste collection in April.
