Construction Project Update March 24, 2023

Chestnut Street, Locust Street, & Spruce Street Water Main and Street Improvement Project

This week Geneva Construction’s subcontractor, Holiday Sewer & Water Construction, completed the tap into the water main on the Hickory Street end for all three streets and installed the valve.  They installed the new water main on Locust Street and began the installation of the new water main on Spruce Street.  Geneva Construction completed sidewalk removal and driveway apron removal in preparation for where the new water main is being installed.

Next week, they are planning to complete the water main installation on Spruce Street the first two days of the week.  The second half of the week they plan to install the water main on Chestnut Street.
