The Village’s Public Works Department had assistance from two area daycares to help plant a tree in our Arbor Day tree planting ceremony! The kids also sang songs and read a book with Public Works employees! Thanks to all for helping plant a tree (now at the corner of Marvo and Grant) and helping to make North Aurora a beautiful, greener place!

Which speaking of, did you know the Village of North Aurora has earned recognition as a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation? The Village was named as a Tree City USA for its 14th consecutive year and also awarded the Growth Award for its 12th consecutive year in honor of the Village’s commitment to effective urban forest management, environmental improvement and higher level tree care.
