2021 Street Improvement

This week Geneva Construction began saw cutting curb, sidewalk, and aprons in preparation for removals.  They started at the north end of the project on Pinehurst and are moving south within the project area.  By the end of next week they plan to have completed all the saw cutting.

On Monday, the Contractor is planning to begin removal of the curb and sidewalk beginning on the north end of Pinehurst moving south.  After Pinehurst, they will do removals in the order of Hammer, Oberweis, and Jessica with finishing this by end of the day Tuesday.    The Contractor will be handing out notices to residents affected by driveway access at least a day before the removal.

Tuesday they will begin framing for the concrete pours that will begin on Wednesday.  They will be framing and pouring in the same order as the removals and plan to complete the concrete pours for this area by the end of the week.

The concrete will need to cure for 3 days, to gain enough strength, before driveways will be reopened.
