Community Sign Board
Requests will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis. All efforts will be made to accommodate requests in a timely fashion. All requests must be submitted in writing to avoid error when the sign is posted. Please use forms provided.
Generally, items will be posted 7-10 days prior to the date of the event. When no other requests are made for use of the sign at that time, items may be posted longer. Items will be accepted only from local (North Aurora) organizations, such as: schools, churches, scouts, clubs, baseball associations.
Signs should be kept as brief as possible so that passing motorists can get your message. The office will use their own discretion and may offer suggestions if wording for a sign needs alteration to accommodate space or lettering available. No politically motivated sign will be posted and no commercial signs for profit-making businesses will be posted.
Note: Be sure to bring in your information early enough to hold space on your calendar for posting. The weeks go by very fast and there may not be an opening for your request.
